  Eric Saade was born in 1990 in Kattarp. He is a Swedish singer and children's television presenter who is popular with girls of twelve or thirteen.

   

  First, Eric Saade became famous after his win on the Swedish music contest Popkorn and for being a member of Swedish boyband What's Up. But, he left the band in February 2009 to pursue his solo career. In August 2009, Eric Saade signed a contract with Roxy Recordings, which also produces Agnes Carlsson and Malena Ernman. In December 2009, he released his first worldwide single Sleepless. Moreover, Saade participated in Melodifestivalen 2010 in the second semi-final with the song Manboy and achieved the third place in the national final on March 2010. Manboy reached the top of the Swedish singles chart for a total of three weeks. Finally, Eric Saade released his first studio album, Masquerade, on May 2010 and it peaked at the second place in the Swedish charts. 

 

        Furthermore, Eric Saade did the voice of the character Shane in the Swedish version of Disney's Camp rock. And during the summer 2009, he presented Disney Channel's popular My Camp Rock, a Scandinavian music competition. At last, Eric Saade read the Swedish votes in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 and was also a member of the Swedish jury.
