Alexander Skarsgard
Alexander Johan Hjalmar Skarsgard is a swedish actor. He was born in Stockholm on august the 25th 1976. His father is Stellan Skarsgard, a famous swedish actor and his mother is My Skarsgard, he acted in many swedish TV series and movies.
He played in many swedish series and movies during his youth. When he became teenagerhe didn't like the fame, so he decided to stop his carrer (and the cinema). He majored in political science and he did his military service as a marine. During 8 years he refused all propositions to play in movies but in 1997, his passion to play was so importante, he wanted to get back to his carrer : he went to New York in a drama school (Marymount Theatre School). Two years after, he went back to Sweden. He appeared in a number of Swedish productions (the tv serie Vita lögner)and became a star in his native country : he recieved one Guldbagge Award , a swedish award. Alexander hoped that one day he will be a international star. In 2001, he went to Los Angeles and in his city he met an agent and got a part in Ben Stiller movie, Zoolander. He got a little recognition of other countries. He returned in Sweden and he co-wrote and co-directed an award winning short, Att döda ett barn,in 2003. He became a international personnality especially after his part in a amercan tv serie Génération Kill, in 2007. Now he is known for his role of Eric Northman in the famous american serie True Blood.
