Håkan Hellström

hakan Hellström is a Swedich musician. He was born in 1974, in Alvsborg, Goteborg. He has over time grown to be popular with all ages due to his enthusiasm, scene energy and interpretation of old popular favourites live.

He playes drums in the Swedish indie pop band Broder Daniel between 1988 ans 1994. But, he left a band to pursue his solo career.

So, in 2000, he got his Swedish breakthrough with the song "Hänn ingensorg för mig Göteborg" ("Don't feel sorry for me, Gothenburg"). Afterward, in 2005, he released his fourth album, "Nat gammallt, nat nytt, nat lanat, nat blatt" ("Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue").

In 2006, he won the Grammy (which is the swedish equivalent of Grammy Award) for being the best male artist. But, following the birth of his son, he announcer that ha would take a break from tourning and recording. Since, then he has released his fifth album "För sent för Elelweiss" ("Too late for Edelweiss").
