Group: Since when are you retired?

Teacher: since three years and a half.

Group: How old did you retire?

Teacher: I retired at the age of 65. You can retire from 61 to 67 but most people retire at the age of 65 because it's the age when you get a full pension.

Group: Is pension well payed in Sweden?

Teacher: It depends on the work you had, if you were a housewife or if you had a low salary you don't receive a lot of money.
You get about 70% of your former income, after taxes.

Group: how much do you get each month?

Teacher: about 17000 Swedish Crowns, which is quite good.

Group: What do you do during the day?

Teacher: Nothing, you know I’m retired so I can just, relax, be lazy. No, seriously, you always do something when you're retired. I'm interested in fitness so I walk, I go to the Gym, I ski, I skate. I also like to read and travel. When you're retired you can travel a lot : with my wife we go four times a year on vacation.
And there are always things to do at home so you're never unoccupied
