 What type of music do people listen in Sweden ?

Young people listen to pop such as Avril Lavigne. 40 years people prefer jazz and classic. And finally, people over 60 years old like traditional swedish music.

Who buys the most ?

Our best customers are people around 20 years old.

What does the Eurovision represent for you ?

That is a big competition divided in 4 steps. And at the, a big one with a winner who will represent Sweden at the European competition.

What is the traditional swedish music ?

It is a music with which you can dance. That is a pretty simple music with not really much instruments.

Does old rock still exist in Sweden ?

Yes, rock is very important in fact. People listen old hard rock like Dio. But they also like metal bands like Deep purple or Metallica.

Are there some festivals in Sweden ?

There are 22 festivals in all the country. The most famous is Sweden rock. And there is another, smaller, in Linkoping.

What instruments do you teach to the pupils ?

They can choose their instrument. It is various. One prefer playing the guitar. Anothers play battery or trompet.

Since what class can pupils learn music ? And what do you teach exactly ?

Everybody can come if they want. But, they are really free because they do not have to come if they have so much work. During the class, we pratice and learn music history.

But finally, do you put on a show ?

Yes, we do. We organise 6 shows during the year. They are charity concerts.

But, how do you finance all of that ?

 We have a good budget, around 5000 or 7000 swedish crowns for a year.

And what did you study to be a music teacher ?

I went to the Swedish music Academy.
