INTERVIEW WITH A TEACHER OF CINEMA

 

He is a profesor of English, Swedish and cinema. Generally a teacher teaches two subjects.

So, in cinema classes , they have 50 hours, 4h30 a week, from august to november. They learn the history of cinema, analyse, interpret a film and try to understand the message. In a year, they analyse 5 films. But they often study shorts clips.

 

INTERVIEW WITH THE  DIRECTOR OF A CINEMA

 

In This cinema there are 8 movies theaters. During the week, 1000 people go to the cinema but during the week-end there are 3000 spectators. Generally, 25% of the movies are in Swedish and 75% are in English. But only children movies are adapted in Swedish if the original language is English. For one year, there are just 10 French films. In a  year, there are approximately 18 million  people in all the cinemas of the country. So, a Swede goes to the cinema about twice a year. But it is more expensive than in France : 95kr for a movie or 10 €.

In Sweden, there is 124 theaters and 120 cinemas. The best month to go to the cinema in a year is january!
