My first steps in Sweden...

As we were on the plane, we were looking at the Earth under us that had changed. Indeed, Swedish landscapes seemed so different from the air that we could not take our eyes off them. All of us are used to big fields without any snow, sometimes with woods nearby. So, seeing some snow covering all the areas of the country, even the roads, surprised us.

I remember what I felt at this moment: a subtle mix of impatience and excitement.

After two and a half hours in the air, the plane landed in the early afternoon in Stockholm. The sun shone brightly but the snow was not melting because of low temperatures. We got out of the airport; we finally reached the Swedish territory.

I realized it was the beginning of a long-awaited week and I knew then that the journey would be full of unforgettable memories and discoveries.
