Sweden has the best life expectancy with 84 years for the women and 77 years old for the men.

The sum received by the retired people are based on medium salaries of the 15 better years of professional activity and on numbers of years worked. To earn a full pension, it is necessary to work at least 30 years. As in France, there are retirement home for the the oldest or weakest of them. We visited a retirement home and this one was similar to ours in many points. The elderly took care by cooking, by knitting.. A reading of the newspaper was planned every morning because most of them didn't know how to read or were no longer able to do it. Most of them, tired by their age fall asleep during this reading. The staff who take care of them, mainly consists of nurse's aides and nurses, but there are also one or several teenagers in difficulty, in particular mental delayed which rather than to stay at home, come help by cleaning, cooking... They are paid 8 «  Krona » per hour.
