Interview with Maria Fagerberg

 Maria Fagerberg 

During our trip in Sweden, we had the opportunity to meet an author, her name is Maria Fagerberg.

She was born on 30th october 1967.

She lives in Linköping.

She has written four books, in 2003 Lady Black, in 2004 For the homeland, in 2006 Fragments of the sky and in 2009 Cranberries pathname 114.

So, we had the luck to meet her and she answered  our questions.

  • How do you get inspiration for writing your books ?

In newspapers, what happens in real life, from pictures or music.

  • Have you always wanted to be a writer ?

No, it came by chance but writing has always been part of my life.

 

  • What public do you target with your novels ?

My novels are not for children but I aim at a lot of youngsters, teenagers, grown ups. No special people.

 

  • What do you think of French literature ?

She doesn't know  French literature very well, but she read No et Moi and it was good. She likes reading older authors.

 

  • Are you writing a book at the moment ?

Yes, but I don't want to make it known for the moment.

 

  • What is the topic of your novels ?

Her books deals with death, war and dark things.

 

  • Do you only like  literature ?

There are other arts that she enjoys, like photography, music but she only listens, she does  not sing and watching dancing.
